As a circus artist, Yogi and athlete, I have been on the path to discover what type of movement and bodywork gives the best results. Having enjoyed athletics most of my life, it wasn’t until 2003 that I discovered the benefits of bodywork. Over the last 15 years of receiving bodywork, I have recovered from chronic nerve tension, shoulder tightness, pulled hamstrings, heartburn, low back pain and a less than ideal body image.
When I had chronic nerve tension, I was sent to specialists who told me there was nothing they could do for me besides offer me pain medication. After several weeks of massage twice a week I was back feeling like myself again without taking any pain medicine.
Massage enhanced my life with these kinds of positive results and helps by informing my body the most efficient way to move without even trying. When the tissue is lengthened with massage, it is able to move better. More movement brings more life.
The source of my inspiration and teachings in massage come from Ida Rolf.
